The big apple!

Well it's official I'm a New Yorkin (a.k.a New Yorker). It is true I lived there in another life. For some reason I just get that place. I am the absolute worst person at directions but for some reason in New York I always know where I am and where I need to be going. I LOVE IT THERE!!! This trip was set up by my AWESOME,WONDERFUL, GREAT husband who got Leah and I tickets to go for Christmas (he is the best!). He then watched the kids for 4 whole days and did so amazing! I sure missed my kiddos and was so ready to squeeze them when I got home but I could see that they had been well taken care of! It was the first time Leah and I had ever been anywere without our kids and really the first time we had gone on a real vacation together and it was so much fun to be with my big sis! We had such a great time and we plan on going back many times in the future!

On our way. Both of us were very excited and really didn't know what to do with our self with 5 whole hours of doing nothing...weird!
At dinner the first night. We had so much fun!
Canal Street.
Gucci bag, rolex, hidden rooms, gold ring, sunglasses, perfume, and lots of awesome shops is just some of what we got on this day of marathon shopping
I heart New York!
Yes that is breast milk in the diet coke bottle there are only so many places to put it when pumping in dressing rooms! I was a very dedicated pumper the whole trip and it made for some awkward moments but it was worth it in the end.

On the subway. We mastered the subways...I was very proud of us!
Time square! Lots of good people watching. (Why is everyone sitting in lawn chairs?)
First class on the way home and boy did we need it. We were so wiped by the end of the vacation that a little extra leg room went a LONG way!
Some things that we did not document with pictures that happen to be some of the greatest things we did. Wicked...Oh my goodness!!!! It was all I ever wanted and needed it to be! The singing was awesome and so funny too! Gusto restaurant...aMAZing! Dan's friend Ryan is the chef their. It's in Greenwich Village and in the coolest neighborhood. Its a swanky little Italian restaurant and sooooo good! Ryan was so kind and just kept bringing plate after plate of food and we ate it all! I highly recommend it to anyone who is planning a trip to New York!

Thanks Dan, Kristina and Natalie for helping us with the kids!

Lets go swimmin!

Many of you know that I taught swimming lessons forever and I just about dunked any and every kid that would get close to me in the water but when it came to my own child I was a little bit of a softy (Leah loves to point this out to me!). So I decided I would put Jack in swim lessons and let someone else do the dirty work. To my surprise he LOVES it and cries only when it's time to get out. Miss Lauren is so sweet but Jack better get ready for Farmington because when we go down next week I will be teaching a class of 2 year olds and I would be nearly as sweet!

o

Jane, Jane and more Jane!

I can not get enough of this girl. She is perfect in every way! She is rolling, gabbing, cutting teeth, and making her mom and dad smile many times each day. Here are some pictures of her in some cute little get ups...girls are way too fun!!!

Chicken Hawk

When Paul stayed with us a couple of weeks ago he was calling Jane "chicken hawk" and it has become one of her nicknames.

I don't know why but I just couldn't decide what pictures to post so I just posted them all. She is so yummy and I just can't get enough. I won't brag but I have the cutest little girl around! ;)

See I told you the cutest girl around!

Jackie Chan

Here are some pictures of my little man. He is so much fun and keeps me very busy.

he loves climbing on anything!

So right yet so very wrong. Jack LOVES his rain boots and for some reason wears them on the wrong feet every time!
Got to love those babies blues!
My two guys. We are LOVING the weather. Nothing better then running in the sprinklers and eating Popsicle!

Today we had a rain storm for about 30 minutes but it was one of those great storms where its still 80 degrees outside so I let Jack go wild and he loved it!

I just love this boy and while he is still a little ball of energy he is growing into such a good big boy!

Mothers day

I am overwhelmed with such gratitude today. I know mother's day is all about spoiling mom's for one day and making them feel extra special, which is exactly what happened at my house today but for me especially on this mothers day I just could not stop thinking about two little people who made it all possible. Jack and Jane are the two most sweet loving little kids around and I am thankful everyday for being blessed with such amazing little spirits to watch after.

Jack is really growing up these day's. He makes me laugh all day long with his sweet smile and funny personality. He is so smart and just the coolest little kid around.

Jane is the sweetest little girl. She melts my heart everyday with her sweet spirit. She is beautiful and happy and such an easy fun baby.

I try to be a modest person not really bragging about the blessed life that we have but when it comes to my kids I have a really hard time holding back. They are the best and if you don't believe me just ask their dad! HA!

I would also like to thank my mom. She is the best a girl could ask for. I go to her for everything whether I'm happy or sad she is always there. I am so luck to have a mom that is beautiful, smart, loving, caring, sensitive, strong, healthy, spiritual, and fun! The list could really go on forever! Happy mothers day mom we love you!

changing is fun

Jane has already been bit by the fashion bug. She loves getting dressed and I can really tell that she just feels better when she has a really great outfit on. ;) Any girl can attest to that!

In some hand-me-down jammies she isn't really feelin it! Jack crawled into bed with her that could also be one of the things she isn't really feelin!
In the bath trying to start the day out yummy and clean

First outfit. She really likes the pretty flowers and she told me she feels like spring in this dress and I have to agree.

She decided she was sick of looking like spring (aka she spit up all over it) so we decided to go with cute little school girl. She was really into it for about an hour...

but then she decided to spit up all over that one too so on to easy and breezy. One of our favorites around our house cute but casual.
We may of had many wardrobe changes but I loved every second of it. Girls are soooo fun!
