Snack time

It seems like at least 50% of my day is spent feeding Jack! We always try to find ways to have fun while passing the time. Here are a few pictures of Jack being silly. He really thinks he is funny!

Yikes look at that drool. Must be good!

He thinks he is sooo funny!

Birthday Party x 2

Jack's 2nd Party
Jack got to celebrate his Birthday twice this year. Here are pictures of his 2nd party (one week after his Birthday). We had family come over to help us celebrate and it was a lot of fun. We are so lucky to have some many people live so close to us. (Warning: there are a lot of pictures!)

Jack opening his 1st present.

Everyone admiring the present from Brody and Xander. It is a huge blow up play pin with a hundred balls, or in other words Jack's dream toy.

Jack in his wagon for the first time. He was a little overwhelmed by all that was happening and the look on his face says it all!

Olea trying to pick Jack's nose. I love this picture, it cracks me up!

The wagon was a hit!

Dan and Chip. Chip and Liz are neighbors and very dear friends of ours and we were so glad they came!

Me and Kristina. My beautiful sister-in-law.

Heidi and Stan...the life of the party. No seriously there would not have been a party if it were not for them. Heidi even brought Jack's cake!

Ben and Brandon obviously discussing how to solve all the worlds problems!

Emily and little Luke. One of Jack's best buds!

Jack and Dad. It' so hard being one!

Getting ready to blow out candles!

Me and Dan getting the cake ready. Teamwork!

Nat, Ben and big Luke. We were so happy that Nat and her family made it. It is always so much fun getting all the cousins together. (Cute hats!)

This is a picture taken early that morning. Jack would not let me put him down and I was thinking how am I going to get ready for the party? Then the doorbell rang and lo and behold it was a gift from Aunt Leah. This puzzle was in it and it had him occupied long enough for me to finish. Literally saved by the bell!

The First Party
So because Dan and I were both sick during Jack's Birthday we had to reschedule his party. Dan and I were feeling really bad about it so we decided to have a party with the three of us. I made some cupcakes, whipped out the Birthday hats and we had an instant party!

Lookin' cute in our party hats!

Jack was all smiles and ready to party.

He was fascinated by the candles!

Not so sure about these cupcakes...what a picky eater!

Not really digging it!

Decided it was way more fun to squish on the counter top!

All in all Jack had a great Birthday! We still can't believe he is 1, he is growing up right before our eyes! We love you Jack!

Super Bowl

We went over to my cousin Emily's house for a little Super Bowl party and Jack and Luke were having a grand old time getting pulled around in the wagon.
I love this picture! Jack and Luke are going to be the best of buds!

I'm thinking that Jack's hair is looking a little wild, but I just can't bring myself to cut it!

Jack has finally learned to clap and my favorite is when he actually figures out to do it when he is having fun!

And this is why I left before half time. I am quickly learning that one year olds are, whats the word...tricky! i don't think I sat down once the whole night and I was exhausted when I got home. This boy has me on my toes!
