Memories

Okay so I saw this on my friends blog and I had so much fun reminiscing I just had to put it on my own. Now I know I have not updated in a VERY long time and I really do have a lot of pictures to post and I promise I will post them soon!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Rach, I can remember seeing you for the first time ever. It was at a Dixie soccer game. I remember thinking, "What's so special about this girl?" Just kidding. I DO remember thinking you were gorgeous and that you had Lois Lane hair. Lois Lane from the old Superman on ABC with Dean Cain as Superman...anyway...you are still gorgeous and now you have long, Tropical Barbie hair.

I think my favorite memories of you are also Ambassador memories like you said on my blog. Remember when you and I talked Pat Moody into dressing up as the cigar-smoking angel from Singled Out? He hated us. Also, remember how Rebel Retreat was the worst experience of our lives but we totally rocked it and I guarantee they haven't had a better one since. BUT, I think my FAVORITE memory when I think of you is how you and Sam gave me a birthday card (I still have) that said I was your LOBSTER. I loved when you guys said that.

Anyway, we were pretty much the BOMB.com in college. Everyone knows it. =) I love ya!

OH have lots of fun memories, but for some reason this is the one that popped into my head:

Remember one day after school we were getting into my car and a certain someone - C.C. - came up to my car and asked if he could kiss me? Right there in the middle of the parking lot? And before I could even give him a proper answer he just planted one on me. Ack! And then I get in the car and you are just dying laughing and you ask me if what you thought just happened really just happened. That was a ridiculous moment and it always makes me squeal in uncomfortable ickiness :)

Okay, my favorite memory of you is when you got into an argument with that chinese dance teacher at Dixie, do you remember? Shou Lung Fat or something right! She was being crazy and dumb and you called her on it. The problem was so one could understand what in the world she was saying. It was hilarious! Love your spunk!

And I also remember meeting you and you did have beautiful shiny Lois Lane hair.

I remember walking from your apartment to get snow cones. I also remember driving around with you (illegally) and laughing! Long before that I remember sleepovers with you and Diana and playing in Diana's tree. We had some great times!

Rach, I wouldn't even know where to start!! Holy Cow... I remember going to Safeway with you and your mom to buy French Onion sunchips and sparkling grapefruit juice. I remember when we would meet in front of our houses we would always say, "Howdy Doody, Doodie!" What about when the birdie went doo on you and you got in trouble for telling your mom the bird when "caca" on you... or when you could walk from your house to Jana's house by walking across the neighbor backyard walls... what agility! Remember on Christmas you would come over to see what Santa brought, and you would bring what he brought you? Don't Break The Ice is one game I remember you got... Remember when we made matching tye dye t-shirts for twin day and they said, "Rag Dolls," our name brand? How about when you would come over and eat Otter Pops til the cows came home? Basketball Camps when you got all the cute boys when you convinced them to let you drive their cars when you weren't old enough... I've got all kinds of memories. There are a couple for you. I could read my journal and find a zillion more.

Rach-
Trying to think of just ONE is defiantly the hard part of this post! I have so many great memories of hanging out with you. I love all of my memories of serving with you on the student council, sleeping over at your house in St. George, talking for hours with you about my boyfriend at the time :) decorating event after event...lunchtime...cleaning the activities closet...searching for your lost wedding ring at Tony Roma's...meeting up with you any time I could in Salt Lake...having breakfast with you the morning before you had Jack!!! And hundreds more! I have to just take a minute a thank you, first for your wonderful friendship and second for being that girl who was there no matter what. I value our friendship sooo much and miss you a tons! Loves!

OH MAN, I remember the first time I met you and I thought you were absolutely GORGEOUS...there was something about you that made an instant connection with me. It seems like we were immediate friends. Remember Sadies? Ambassador stuff? Working at SkyWest? How come we never took a trip together? Visiting you in Salt Lake. Our endless phone conversations swapping mommy stories...I'm so excited we will be able to do it again for round 2! I think you are fabulous and I am dang lucky to have you as a friend. Okay, getting misty eyed...time to quit!

So I'm a little behind in blogging, my own and others! I still want to play though! I actually have a favorite memory no problem. Remember how I went to girls camp with you and we went on the 4th year hike?(I should have been a year ahead)That was so fun-we got lost and our hike turned to 15 miles! I was so sore from lifting weights I could only waddle. You were always wild and crazy! You had me agree to jump in the little pool of freezing mountain run off with you! Man! That makes me cold just thinking about it! Fortunately it made my legs pain free for about an hour after! My favorite part however was later when we where guessing each others middle names and deciding what would sound good with our first names. I asked you what you thought of Rebecca Renee and you said "No, I don't really like the sound of that!" It still makes me laugh out loud- you were so embarrassed when I told you that WAS my middle name. Oh, that makes me miss you! Love you girl!
